The requirements of survival always keep you on your toes, you can’t just hide away. You can craft raw materials, and also use some of the resources you gather to make important tools, in order to build up your stronghold or fix up vehicles. Rescuing people from the camps of bandits is a great way to have them help you with simple tasks. Despite gathering resources, you can also carry out good deeds, and help other people in the world, meaning you can also forge allies which can aid you in your struggle. In Mist Survival, players need to hunt, mine, farm and forge their way through daily life. The attention to detail is also impressive - the abandoned houses for example - if you decide to make one of them your fortress, you are able to transfer resources from your inventory to the cupboards, which makes for a cool storage space feature. Weapons can be found and used to kill the undead, but having that stronghold to retreat back to, offers a much welcomed relief and adds a more prominent sense of realism to the game. You’ll also need to find a safe place, somewhere you can bunker down for the night, but you need to explore different areas and weigh up your options. Safe HavenĪs zombies lurk in the mist, and threaten you from the darkness, you need to wander the wilderness finding resources to make your survival easier. You also need to be aware of multiple health gages which can all contribute to your downfall, these are: hunger, health, thirst, fatigue, stamina and cold. You’ll find yourself trying to stave off hunger and thirst, building tools, gathering resources, and fighting off zombies in your desperate need to survive the unforgiving wilderness.
